The maintenance of the lacquered wood
The Woodi products are treated with high quality Nicolet furniture lacquer. Although the wooden surface stands hard use, it is good to remember following instructions when cleaning and maintaining the furniture.
- The moisture damages the lacquer surface. Always remove water and other liquids immediately from the wooden surface.
- The lacquer surface can be cleaned with a slightly moist cloth. Hard and damaging cleaning tools should be avoided.
- For cleaning very mild cleaning agents can be used.
Maintaining the laminate
The colorful surfaces of the Woodi products are manufactured from durable high pressure laminate by using modern materials and machinery. We can guarantee that the products will fulfill your expectations no matter if you use them in dining or playing area.
Heat objects on laminate surfaces
Boiling water or hot food does not damage the laminate surface, but on contrary a burning cigarette, hot iron or oven hot plates or pots can damage the laminate surface.
Water is not harmful for laminate surface, but it can damage the corpus material of the table top. For this reason it is important to remove water from the top to avoid the water absorbing into the corpus of the top through seams of the top.
Normal cooking containers and dishes do not damage the laminate surface. However, if you cut or scratch the laminate surface with a knife, the surface can get damaged. Please, use cutting board for knives.
Clean the laminate surface with water and mild detergent. Persistent spots can be removed by using non-rubbing fluid detergent and a soft brush. The laminate surface stands most of the normal chemicals used at homes, also ones including alcohol or cosmetic subjects. Some chemicals or strong color agents can damage the surface. Remove beetroot juice, juice concentrates, color agents, chemicals, strong bleaching subjects or detergents immediately from the laminate surface.
